This free event is to kick-off the Solarize program in Royal Oak.  Solarize is a grassroots initiative that works to connect residents, interested in rooftop solar, to each other for information, lessons learned, and the potential to purchase discounted solar through bulk-buying together.  Click here for event flyer!

If you are concerned about sustainability issues like waste, green space, water quality, energy waste reduction, resilience, equity, and mitigating climate change, there are a number of ways you can participate in Royal Oak's sustainability and climate action planning work.

  2. Stakeholder Survey - Released 7/20/2021.  Now closed.  Stay tuned for Survey Summary Results
  3. Focus Topic Workgroups - Meetings are in progress.  Click here for agendas or view the 'Calendar' in the column to the right.
  4. Stakeholders Review Draft Plan - Fall 2021 - TBD
  5. Final Plan presented to commission for approval - January 2022
