Playground equipment in Royal Oak public parks is off limits for the time being. We’ll let you know when the virus is gone and it’s OK to play on our city swings, playscapes and slides again. For now enjoy kicking a soccer ball or playing catch with members of your family at any of our parks. As long as you keep a safe distance -- six-feet or more -- from other park visitors you’re good!
(Thank you, Carl Oxley, for the super cool graphics!)
The Detroit Zoo has many interesting videos, live streams, and programs offered for children. They are promoting “Virtual Vitamin Z”, hosting animal live cams and online learning classes.
Royal Oak is Drawing Closer
We send local Royal Oak senior care facilities your drawings, letters and photographs.
Just upload a drawing or a letter. Let us know what/how you are doing and we’ll share it with the residents of local assisted living and memory care facilities. They’ll print them, not us, so we’ll all stay safe.
