Summer Reading Begins!

Join us as we celebrate the power of reading with activities, a scavenger hunt, prizes galore, and plenty of great suggested reads in numerous formats. This summer’s theme is titled All Together Now, celebrating the joy of working together toward a common goal. The adult program, and the scavenger hunt, starts Saturday, June 24, at 10:00AM, at the Summer Reading Kick-Off.

Program Ends: Friday, September 1, 2023

All logging and ticket input must be completed by Friday, September 1, 2023

Tell Me about the Prizes!

Virtual tickets are awarded through completing specific activity badges, or through reading. Participants will place their tickets into the drawing of their choice via Beanstack.

The Adult Summer Reading Program will be closed on Friday, September 1, 2023. Have all the badges you'd like to earn done, and your tickets submitted for any giveaway you want to enter before that date. Winners will be drawn and contacted on Monday, September 4th!

All prizes are non-refundable.

Scavenger Hunt

The summer long scavenger hunt will be across the first floor of the library. Starting Saturday, June 24, 2023, sixteen codes will be scattered throughout stacks and the media area, and it is your mission to find all of them! Register for the '2023 - Adult Summer Reading Scavenger Hunt!' on Beanstack to participate!

Each badge on the Beanstack challenge has 1-2 sentences that give a hint of where you'll find each code. When you find a sign, type the code in the corresponding badge. When you've found them all, return to the Adult Reference Desk to receive a prize!

Completing the scavenger hunt also earns you TWO TICKETS to enter for any giveaway you like!
