CAP2008 - Crooks Road Resurfacing

The contractor has completed the new water main installation and is finishing up transferring services over to the new main. Pavement removal and replacement will continue this week along the corridor.

During construction, Crooks Road traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. Left turns will be prohibited for northbound and southbound traffic at 13 Mile Road and 14 Mile Road. Please seek alternate traffic routes if possible to avoid delays.

CAP2105 Concrete Street Repairs

Contractor: Mark Anthony Contracting, Inc.

Phase 1: Streets EAST of Campbell Road and SOUTH of 11 Mile Road
The contractor is removing and pouring deficient concrete panels, working on one side of the street at a time. If residents driveway access will be affected, they will receive a door hanger notice the day beforehand.

CAP2115 Asphalt Resurfacing Improvements

Contractor: Hutch Paving, Inc.

The contractor is currently working on Phase I streets, removing and replacing deficient concrete curbing and approaches as necessary. The contractor is working on one side of the street at a time.

Elmhurst Avenue (North) - Most of the concrete work is complete except for one pavement base section mid-block.

Rosewold Avenue - Concrete work was completed on the east side last week. This week, the contractor will be working on the west side of the roadway.

Nakota Road (W-S) - The concrete curbing and base repairs that were poured last week are currently curing.

Nakota Road (D-B) - The contractor is working on finishing the remaining concrete work this week.

Elmhurst Avenue (at Starr) - Concrete replacement to the east of the rail road crossing should be completed this week.

Starr Road - The contractors is working on some pavement replacement and plans to complete it by the end of the week weather permitting.

CAP2135 Road Reconstruction Improvements

Contractor: Mark Anthony Contracting, Inc.

Manor Avenue - the contractor installed water main last week. This week the contractor will work on pavement removal and installing new edge drain along the curb line. Once complete they will begin grading and pouring the new pavement.

Cresthill Avenue - The contractor plans to finish grading the new road base and begin prepping forms and pouring new pavement this week.
