THE 2024 ROYAL OAK MEMORIAL DAY PARADE IS ON!

After consulting with a local meteorologist, WDIV's Ron Hilliard, the Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade will step off on Monday morning at 9 a.m. as planned! Hooray!

Please dress accordingly and bring an umbrella -- just in case.

MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY LOCATION MOVED

As a precaution, the Memorial Day Ceremony will be held inside the Royal Oak Farmers Market, 316 E Eleven Mile Rd, immediately following the parade. We encourage you to join us for this meaningful event as we honor and remember our veterans.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST

There is an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the farmers market from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. We invite you to come early and enjoy a delicious breakfast before the ceremony!

The Field of Honor at Centennial Commons will be on display through Sunday, June 2. Please stop by to learn more about the 189 individuals from Royal Oak who gave their lives in service to our country.

Closing Ceremony

Join us Sunday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at Centennial Commons as we read aloud the names of 188 Royal Oak heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. This somber tradition ensures their memories aren't lost.
