New Drop Box Installed In a hurry? A convenient new drop box has been installed near the entrance to the Royal Oak Police Station at 221 E Third.
Drop off payments (for bills, invoices, tickets etc.) or absentee ballots without having to step far from your car.
Please, do NOT put cash in the box – just checks!

New Public Parking
To accommodate residents, visitors and disabled individuals, the city has added opened the private lot between City Hall and the library to the public as a 30-space metered lot.

Royal Oak Launches Online Dog Licensing Licensing your dog just got easier. Licenses may now be purchased online.
Every resident of the city who owns a dog must license their dog through the City of Royal Oak. By ordinance, licenses must expire at the same time as the rabies vaccination.
To purchase a license on online, you'll need to upload a copy of the current rabies certificate and proof of spay/neuter (if applicable). Click here to get started!.
