Construction Monday December 3

Visitors who use the parking lot between the library, city hall and police department, please take note on Monday December 3 some parking spaces will be temporarily unavailable as construction crews will be cutting through the asphalt. There is parking just across Troy street from the library in the farmers market west lot which now has access from 11 Mile Road.

Interested in helping to promote the 2020 Census to your friends and neighbors in Royal Oak? Join the count and become a member of the 2020 Complete Count Committee!
Applications are available on the city's website at https://royaloakmi.seamlessdocs.com/f/application.
The 2020 Complete Count Committee will distribute information and encourage Royal Oak residents to complete their 2020 census.

Trends have seen drops in both 2000 and 2010 census counts. Each drop equates to a lower census count and means a loss of funding and representation to Royal Oak.

Downtown Park Task Force to Present Survey Findings

The downtown park task force meets on Wednesday December 12 at 6:00p.m. in the city commission room 315 at city hall to present the findings from the visual preference surveys conducted in October and November. What did the survey reveal Royal Oak residents want in a brand new park right in the heart of downtown?

Citizens are also encouraged to sign up for crime alerts at crimemapping.com. Crime Mapping's goal is to assist police departments in reducing crime through a better-informed citizenry.
