APRIL: 2023:   


Pick up Royal Oak Woman’s Club Spaghetti Sauce April 1st & 2nd.  The Royal Oak Woman’s Club Spaghetti Dinner will be on Friday, April 14th, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm at the Clubhouse, located at 404 S. Pleasant St. off Fourth St in Royal Oak.  Click here for more information.


A Royal Oak Nature Society’s “Spring Wildflower Walk” is being held at Tenhave Woods on Saturday, April 8th beginning at 2:00 pmPark at Lexington/Marais lot & meet at Lexington entrance.  We will be looking for Red & White Trillium, blue & yellow violets, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, Bloodroot, Trout Lily, Wild Geranium, Spice Bush, Spring Beauty, Wood Poppy, Jack-in-the-Pulpit, & Wood Anemone and more.  There is no registration or cost for this nature walks  For more information, click onto the following link: https://www.romi.gov/411/Nature-Walks

Royal Oak Nature Society's “Mushroom Walk” will take place on Saturday, April 22nd at Cummingston Park beginning at 10 am.  Mary Fredricks, a member and botanist/mycologist of the Royal Oak Nature Society, will lead the walks.  Anyone with an interest in learning more about mushrooms and other fungi of the urban woods is welcome.  There is no registration or cost for these mushroom walks.

Royal Oak Symphony Orchestra’s final concert for the season will be Friday, May 5th at 8:00 p.m. Beethoven's Symphony No. 6, a Mozart bassoon concerto, Milhaud's Scaramouche, and a work composed by our Music Director John McLaughlin Williams will be featured! Click here for more information
