It is unlawful to park vehicles on the city’s right-of-way property between the front property line and the edge of the traveled roadway unless an agreement has been approved for the property in question.
To apply for a parking pull-off agreement you must complete an application, pay the review fee and submit it to the engineering division for traffic committee review. The application will include location information, proof of property ownership, detailed site plan and described necessity for a parking pull-off.
Once the application is submitted it will be reviewed by the traffic committee, city engineer and the city commission. If approved, a license agreement will be signed between the property owner and the city. A Right-of-Way Permit must be obtained prior to any construction.
